Admission for Labor and Delivery
We have prepared a comfortable and supportive environment to ensure that you can give birth and spend your postpartum with peace of mind. If you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.
What to Bring
Please prepare the following items in advance for your hospitalization. We recommend having everything ready by around 30 weeks of pregnancy in case of an unexpected hospital admission. For those planning a vaginal delivery, please organize your belongings into two separate bags as shown in the checklist below. Additionally, leave all valuables at home for safekeeping.

Documents for Hospital Admission
Please review all admission documents before your hospital stay. The “Admission and Agreement Form” should be completed after registering for delivery and promptly submitted to the 1st-floor Admission/Discharge Counter.

Guide to Maternity Hospital Stay Fees
For details on maternity hospital stay fees, please refer to the “Maternity Hospital Stay Fees Guide ” . Costs vary depending on room type selection and additional services such as epidural anesthesia.
- Aiiku Hospital participates in the Lump-Sum Childbirth Allowance Direct Payment System. The registration will be completed after admission.
- We are enrolled in the Japan Obstetric Compensation System for Cerebral Palsy. For more details, please refer to the “Guide to the Japan Obstetric Compensation System for Cerebral Palsy ” .
Payment Options
Please pay your hospital stay fees at the 1st Floor Admission/Discharge Desk (hours: weekdays 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. ). If you are discharged outside of office hours, the bill will be sent to you by mail.
Accepted payment methods include cash, debit card, and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, SAISON, Diners, JCB, AMERICAN EXPRESS). If planning to pay by credit card, please check with your card’s credit limit in advance.

Guidelines for Your Hospital Stay
Before Admission:
- Please trim your nails and remove any makeup before admission.
- Remove rings, nail polish, gel nails, press on nails, eyelash extensions, and body piercings beforehand.
- If you wear non-removable orthodontic appliances, please inform us in advance.
During Your Stay:
- Photography is permitted, but please ensure other patients and staff are not captured.
- You will be required to wear a wristband for identification purposes.
- If there are any changes to your health insurance information during your stay, please provide us with the updated documents.
- Depending on room availability, we may not be able to accommodate your preferred room.
- Advance reservations for rooms are not available.
- Filming during delivery or infant bathing is not permitted.
- Patients are generally not allowed to leave the hospital during their stay. Permission from a doctor is required for any exceptions.
- Hospital Wi-Fi services for patients are not available.
Postpartum Care Program
We offer extended postpartum care for mothers who have delivered at our hospital. This service is ideal for:

For Gynecological Inpatients
We strive to provide a comfortable environment where patients can focus on their recovery with peace of mind.
Details regarding surgery schedules and procedures will be explained after admission.
What to Bring
In addition to items specified by your doctor and nurses, please prepare the following:

Payment Options
We kindly ask you to complete your discharge by noon. Weekday payment can be made at the Admission/Discharge Desk on the 1st floor. We accept cash, debit cards, and credit cards (VISA, Master, SAISON, Diners, JCB, AMERICAN EXPRESS). If you plan to pay by credit card, please check your credit limit with your card provider in advance.
For discharges outside regular hours or on holidays, payment will be processed at a later date. Please schedule your follow-up appointment before discharge. For inquiries, contact us on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Guidelines for Your Hospital Stay
- In shared rooms, please refrain from making phone calls within the room.
- If you are having day surgery under general anesthesia, you must have someone accompany you home upon discharge.
- Photography or video recording during medical examinations or tests is not permitted.
- Please use the security box provided to store valuables such as cash and cards.
- Never leave your valuables unattended
- For sanitary purposes, flowers are not permitted.
For Pediatric Inpatients
Our goal is to support your child’s recovery and ensure a safe and comfortable hospital stay while providing peace of mind for families. Our pediatric ward is staffed with full-time certified childcare specialists, pharmacists, and a playroom is available for our patients and their family members.
What to Bring
Please prepare items appropriate for your child's age and developmental stage. Label all personal belongings with your child's name. For admission, bring your child's insurance card, medical care certificate, and patient ID card, along with a deposit of 30,000 yen (cash or credit card accepted). For detailed information, please check the "Pediatric Ward Admission Guide."

- While medications can be prescribed at our hospital if needed, please bring any regular medications for chronic conditions.
- Some personal care items, including towels and diapers, are available for purchase at the 9th floor shop.
Items Available for Purchase
If you run out of diapers, tissues, towels, or other necessities during your child’s stay, we can provide them as needed.
- Additional charges apply for non-medical supplies.
- Items are provided only when needed. Please bring all essential items with you.
For safety and sanitary reasons, we do not allow cash or valuables for your child, and bringing flowers is not permitted. Additionally, in the pediatric ward, the following restrictions apply:

Guidelines for Accompanying Parents and Visitors
One parent must stay with the child at all times, both day and night.
Visiting hours for parents (other than the accompanying parent) are from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Guidelines for Pediatric Hospital Stay
- Please follow all safety instructions regarding bed rails as detailed in the guide.
- For infection control purposes, siblings are not permitted to enter the 6th floor pediatric ward.
- Siblings may wait with either parent in the lobby on the 1st or 9th floor.
- Photography and video recording during medical care and procedures are prohibited.
- In shared rooms, please refrain from making phone calls within the room.
Respite Care Admission
We offer respite care admissions for families caring for children with medical care needs. This service is available when families need temporary relief or when home care becomes temporarily difficult. To learn more, please read "Respite Care at Aiiku Hospital."
If you have already scheduled respite care admission, please review the "Respite Care Information Sheet" and "Positioning Sheet."
Additionally, bring the “Personal Belongings Checklist” with you for each admission.
