The Department of Anesthesiology primarily focuses on anesthesia during delivery and surgery, as well as postoperative pain management. Through epidural analgesia for labor, surgical anesthesia, and comprehensive perinatal care, we strive to ensure patients feel secure during childbirth and surgical procedures. Our board-certified anesthesiologists are available 24/7 for both labor epidurals and emergency surgeries.

  • Cesarean Section Anesthesia

We focus on comprehensive pain management for cesarean sections. We employ “multimodal analgesia,” combining epidural analgesia, targeted nerve blocks for incisional pain, and systemic pain medications (both IV and oral). While anesthesia for cesarean sections following labor epidurals can be technically challenging, our experienced specialists ensure to provide safe management.

  • Surgical Anesthesia

Our board-certified anesthesiologists also provide anesthesia for general surgical procedures. We prioritize patient safety while striving to minimize postoperative pain and nausea.
