"Comprehensive Pediatric Care: From Acute Illness to Well-Baby Checkups"

Our Pediatric Department provides comprehensive care ranging from general pediatric conditions—such as fever, colds, headaches, runny nose, sore throat, cough, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and seizures—to well-baby checkups, vaccinations, parenting support, home medical support, and inpatient care. We collaborate with university hospitals, children's hospitals, and local medical facilities as needed to provide optimal care for your child. We also maintain close coordination with Aiiku Clinic through shared electronic medical records.

  • Outpatient Pediatric Care

    Inpatient Pediatric Care

     

    Our pediatric ward includes:

     

    • Three 4-bed rooms
    • One 2-bed room
    • Eight private rooms

     

    The ward features full-time childcare staff and pharmacists, plus a playroom.

     

    Daily rates:

     

    Shared  rooms (4-bed/2-bed): ¥6,000

     

    Private rooms: ¥10,000-30,000

     

    *4-bed rooms provide complete nursing care (visiting hours: 12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.)

    *Private rooms for infants/young children generally require caregiver attendance

    *Respite care available for children requiring medical care (Please contact our Community Healthcare Coordination Office at 03-6453-7300)

    We operate on a multiple attending physician system to provide 24/7 pediatric emergency care. Daily team conferences ensure continuity of care through shared treatment progress reviews.

  • Infection Screening

    We conduct the following tests based on infection symptoms:

     

    • Rapid Testing for:

     

    – Influenza

    – RSV

    – Human Metapneumovirus

    – Strep

    – Adenovirus

    – COVID-19

    – Comprehensive PCR testing including Mycoplasma using FilmArray technology

     

    • In-house Bacterial Culture Testing

     

    • Diagnostic Imaging (X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Contrast Radiography)

  • Cardiovascular, Gastrointestinal, and Urological Evaluations (Hours: Weekdays 9:00 a.m.–4:00 a.m., Appointment Required)

    Non-invasive examinations include:

     

    • Echocardiography and ECG (heart murmurs, congenital heart disease)
    • Contrast Radiography (vesicoureteral reflux, gastrointestinal abnormalities)
    • Abdominal Ultrasound (digestive disorders, appendicitis)
    • Surface Ultrasound (Lymphadenopathy, etc.)

  • Well-Baby Checkups

    Regular health checks conducted according to local government guidelines to monitor baby’s growth and development. Parenting consultations are also available. Checkups are conducted Monday–Friday, and can be scheduled alongside vaccinations.

    • Neurology Clinic (epilepsy, developmental disorders)
    • Pediatric Surgery Clinic (phimosis, hydronephrosis, inguinal hernia, constipation, cryptorchidism, retractile testis, umbilical hernia)
    • Pediatric Plastic Surgery Clinic (cleft lip/palate, nevus spilus , hemangioma, preauricular fistula, ptosis, ear deformities, lop ear, other congenital conditions)

    Note: New patients must visit the pediatric outpatient clinic before scheduling a specialist appointment.

    Our dedicated physical and occupational therapists provide:
